A. Information you provide
- Account information (e.g., email, authentication identifiers) when you sign in with Apple or Google.
- Waitlist information (email, and optional source/UTM parameters) if you join the waitlist.
- Reviews and ratings, including structured category scores and written notes.
- Media uploads, such as photos, audio recordings, and video recordings you choose to submit with a review.
B. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data, such as log information, approximate location derived from IP address (city/region level), and interaction data needed for security and performance.
- Cookies / similar technologies on the website for basic functionality and analytics (where enabled).
C. Transcription and analysis outputs
- Transcriptions: If you submit audio for dictation, we generate text transcripts to help you draft your review notes.
- Moderation signals: We may generate moderation flags or summaries to help enforce review standards and safety.
2) How we use information
- Provide and operate the Services (accounts, posting reviews, displaying content).
- Generate transcriptions from audio dictation to help draft review notes.
- Moderate content and enforce our review standards and Terms.
- Improve safety, reliability, and product quality (bug fixing, security, abuse prevention).
- Analytics to understand usage and improve the experience.
- Communications (e.g., waitlist updates or service messages).
3) Legal bases (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA/UK, we rely on the following legal bases where applicable:
- Contract: to provide the Services you request (accounts, reviews, moderation, transcription feature).
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Services, prevent abuse, and improve functionality.
- Consent: for optional features such as certain analytics or model-improvement participation (where offered).
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
4) How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the Services, comply with law, and protect users.
A. Service providers
We use vendors that process data on our behalf, such as:
- Hosting and database (e.g., Vercel and Supabase) for website/app infrastructure.
- Transcription provider for converting submitted audio to text.
- Analytics providers (if enabled) to understand site performance and usage trends.
B. Legal and safety
- To comply with law, court order, or lawful governmental request.
- To protect rights, safety, and security of users, our company, or the public.
- To investigate abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
C. Business transfers
If we undergo a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.
5) Public content and visibility controls
Reviews may become visible to other users once approved through moderation. We may display structured scores, written notes, and (where you choose) associated media. We may also display aggregated metrics derived from reviews.
6) Model improvement and optional opt-in
We may offer an optional opt-in that allows us to use certain user content (such as review text or transcripts) to improve our systems (e.g., better review drafting assistance, moderation, or categorization). If offered, participation will be clearly presented as an opt-in with choices, and you can change your selection in the app settings when available.
7) Data retention
- Waitlist data: retained until you request deletion or until it is no longer needed for launch communications.
- Account and review data: retained while your account is active, and for a reasonable period thereafter for compliance, dispute resolution, and safety.
- Media and transcripts: retained to support review integrity, moderation, and user experience, unless you delete them or we remove them under our policies.
8) Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information.
A. California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
- Right to know/access categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect.
- Right to delete personal information (subject to exceptions).
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not sell; if we ever enable “sharing” as defined by CPRA, we will provide opt-out controls).
- Right to limit use/disclosure of sensitive personal information (we do not intend to use sensitive info beyond providing the Services).
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
B. EEA/UK rights (GDPR)
- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

9) Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you access the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
